Bio
Erin Schlechter is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background in nephrology, nursing education, and family practice. She earned both her MSN and BSN from the University of South Alabama, where she also pursued her Doctor of Nursing Practice. Erin’s nursing journey began in 2013, and she has since served in diverse roles from in-center dialysis care to nursing education and advanced practice in nephrology.
Throughout her career, Erin has been passionate about patient education and evidence-based care. Her experience includes clinical instruction at Northwest Florida State College and extensive nephrology work with Fresenius Kidney Care and Renalus Center for Kidney Care. Shein board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed to practice in Florida.
In her work and personal life, Erin follows this quote by Aesop - "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
When she’s not caring for patients, Erin embraces both outdoor and indoor adventures. She enjoys hiking, gardening, swimming, and traveling with her family. At home, she unwinds with a good book or knitting project.
