Originally from Fort Walton Beach, David Mason is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about guiding patients toward better health through education, lifestyle changes, and individualized care planning. With a strong foundation as a registered nurse in emergency, progressive, and oncology care, he brings both clinical expertise and compassionate care to every patient interaction.
He earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University in 2018, graduating magna cum laude, and became board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners prior to graduation. His broad clinical background includes experience in emergency departments, progressive care units, and oncology, which provided him with the critical thinking and acute care skills necessary to support complex patient needs in nephrology. David is licensed to practice in Florida and Alabama.
Since 2018, David has served patients at Renalus Center for Kidney Care, where he emphasizes collaborative care and empowering patients to understand and manage their conditions through education, daily exercise, balanced nutrition, and informed medical decisions.When not caring for patients, he enjoys boating, fishing, attending sporting events, and traveling with his wife and three children.
