Heather Distelrath Presson is a compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience in nephrology, specializing in the management of acute and chronic kidney diseases. She earned her Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of South Alabama and has since been committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Heather believes in treating her patients like family, fostering relationships built on trust, empathy, and open communication. She is passionate about patient education, particularly for those living with chronic kidney disease, empowering them to take an active role in their health and treatment.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their dog. She loves traveling, gardening, and unwinding at the beach, prioritizing a healthy work-life balance that allows her to continue delivering exceptional care to her patients.
