Bio

Irina Born is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with many years of nursing experience and a strong foundation in internal medicine, cardiology, and critical care. Originally from Romania, Irina moved to the United States seeking greater opportunity—and never looked back. She attributes her success to one core principle: “I never gave or took any excuses.”

Her journey began with an Associate of Science in Nursing, followed by a BSN and ultimately a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She completed an advanced Nurse Practitioner Residency Program through a partnership between USA Health and Franklin Primary Health Center, gaining specialized training in managing complex conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, renal failure, dyslipidemia, and obesity-related illnesses in underserved communities.

Throughout her clinical career, Irina has delivered high-quality care in a variety of settings including Mayo Clinic, Select Specialty Hospital, and as a travel nurse in medical-surgical and ICU units. Her hands-on experience includes rapid response care, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and collaborative care coordination with multidisciplinary teams. She is licensed to practice in Florida, and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Fluent in both English and Romanian, Irina brings cultural awareness and a patient-centered mindset to every interaction. She is deeply committed to promoting public health, improving care efficiency, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health journey. When not practicing medicine, Irina enjoys spending time with her family, embracing her faith, and living by the principle of treating others the way she would want to be treated.
